서울역에서 내리게 되실텐데 오늘은 서울역에 최근에 생긴 (24년 6월) 커넥트 플레이스
백년옥에 대해 맛집 소개를 하겠습니다.
백년옥은 2023년 미쉐린 가이드 서울에서 빕 구르망(Bib Gourmand) 레스토랑으로 선정되었습니다 (MICHELIN Guide) (MICHELIN Guide). 백년옥은 자연식 순두부, 뚝배기 순두부, 들깨 순두부 등 다양한 순두부 요리를 제공하며, 특히 들깨 순두부가 인기 메뉴로 꼽힙니다 (추천 : 네이버 블로그).

본점은 예술의 전당 근처인 방배동에 위치하고 있는데
최근 서울역에도 생겨서 너무 편하고 위치도 좋아 방문하기 좋습니다.
저는 여름철 매뉴인 콩국수를 먹었는데
순두부집의 콩국수 답게 걸쭉하고 콩가루가 국물에서 느껴져서 깊은 맛이 났습니다.
설탕대신 소금을 주며 토마토나 다른 것은 들어가있지는 않고
고소한 깨와 오이가 들어가 있어서 시원하게 먹을 수 있습니다.
한국인 뿐 아니라 서울역에는 많은 외국인들이 방문 하는데 , 한국 전통 음식인 순두부 찌개도 먹고 고소한 콩국수를 먹어보았으면 좋겠습니다.
외국인들 입맛에 맞는 안매운 흰국물의 순두부 찌개도 있기 때문에 부담없이 즐길 수 있습니다.
백년옥은 서울역 롯데 아울렛 커넥트플레이스 식당가 3층에 위치 하며 따로 매장이 있는 것이 아니라 푸드 코트 처럼 되어있어 자리를 잡고 먹으면 됩니다.

"Baeknyeonok" was recommended in the 2023 Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand and is well-loved for its popular menu item, perilla seed soft tofu. (It is just white tofu soup)
The main branch is located in Bangbae-dong near the Seoul Arts Center. Recently, a new branch opened at Seoul Station, making it convenient and accessible for visitors.
During this summer, I enjoyed their seasonal menu item, cold soybean noodle soup (kongguksu).
As expected from a tofu specialty restaurant, the soup was rich and creamy, with a deep flavor from the ground soybeans. Instead of sugar, salt is provided, and the dish is garnished with savory sesame seeds and fresh cucumber, making it a refreshing treat. (In Korea we put salt and sugar in this type of noodle soup to make it rich)
Seoul Station sees many foreign visitors, and Baeknyeonok offers a variety of traditional Korean dishes, including soft tofu stew (sundubu jjigae). For those who prefer milder flavors, there is a non-spicy white broth version.
Baeknyeonok's Seoul Station location is on the 3rd floor of the Lotte Outlet Connect Place food court. Unlike a standalone restaurant, it operates in a food court setting where you can find a seat freely.
